In this tea, we've blended a dark roasted oolong tea, from the Wuyi Mountains of China, with caramel. The mineral-rich soil of the Wuyi Mountains creates oolong teas with a natural salt mineral note. The addition of caramel to a Wuyi oolong results in a buttery roasted caramel tea with subtle hints of a salty mineral element.
This is a subtle and smooth caramel tea. If you'd like a more bold and sweet caramel tea, we recommend our Buttercream or Burnt Sugar.
Ingredients: roasted oolong tea, caramel, cacao nibs, apple, calendula flower
Steep Directions: steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz below boiling water, 195°F, for 3-4 minutes
