White Peony (Pai Mu Tan) Organic
Tasting Notes: melon, subtle fruit, sweet butter
Description: White Peony (Pai Mu Tan or Bai Mu Dan) is a white tea grown in Fujian province China. This pure white tea is known for its pale yellow brew that has a clean taste with notes of melon, subtle fruit, and savory sweet butter.
White teas are minimally processed, the least oxidized, and most pure of all teas. To produce white teas, two leaves and a bud are plucked from premium tea plants. These freshly harvested leaves and bud are withered (dried) carefully in the sun. The result is a delicate pure tea with soft nuances.
