Ingredients: organic elderberry
Steep Directions: In a saucepan bring to a boil 2.5 cups water, the entire packet of 150 grams of elderberry, 3/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp clove, and 4 tsp fresh ginger. Once the mixture comes to a rolling boil, cover the saucepan and reduce to simmer. Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Let cool, mash the mixture to break it down, and strain. Strain with a tea infuser, fine mesh strainer, or cheesecloth. Next add 3/4 cup of raw good quality honey. Stir the honey until completely dissolved. Sip a teaspoon or two a day. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Whatever you will not consume in 2 weeks, we recommend you put in the freezer in ice cube trays. Take out a ice cube as needed.
Please note, if you like spice then increase the cinnamon, clove, and ginger to taste.
