Honey Orchid

  • 1700

Tasting Notes: honey, plum, molasses, tobacco

Description: Grown in Fujian province China, this is an early harvest large leaf Mao Feng varietal black tea. A black tea with naturally sweet notes of honey, touches of rich molasses, and bright fruit notes of plum.

This smooth black tea is buttery and bright. True to its name, notes of honey are found in each sip. Subtle hints of aged tobacco balance with the delicate fruity and floral notes that linger on the tongue.  This black tea has a clean and bright finish.

If you're a fan of Golden Monkey tea, Black Gunpowder, or Yunnan Gold then we recommend trying this tea, too.

Ingredients: black tea of the Mao Feng varietal from the Fujian province China

Steep Directions: steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz boiling water, 205-212°F, for 3-5 minutes
