Decaf Lemon Palmer
Tasting Notes: sweet lemon, brisk black tea
Description: Our Decaf Lemon Palmer is inspired by the classic Arnold Palmer, combining half lemonade with half decaffeinated Ceylon black tea. A lemony, bright, and refreshing tea that is meant for iced tea but can also be sipped hot. The perfect balance of lemonade notes enveloped between brisk black tea.
While it’s similar to our original Lemon Palmer, this decaf version has a slightly different black tea taste due to the decaffeination process. It offers the same great lemon flavor, crisp black tea, and refreshing taste, but just a tad different.
This is the perfect tea to flash chill or cold brew for a delicious iced tea. It’s great for evenings or any time you want to enjoy a decaf black iced tea.
Our decaf teas are created using the CO2 decaffeination process. The advantage of this technique is that no chemical solvents are used to remove the caffeine. In this manner of decaffeination, naturally occurring CO2 is applied to the tea leaf in a circulation process which carefully uses high pressure and temperature to extract the caffeine. A very slight residue of caffeine will remain in the tea leaf, which is why we call them decaf teas rather than no caffeine teas. There will be a slight change in the character and flavor of the tea due to the decaffeination process, but the end result is an uncompromising cup of tea with no chemical overtones.
Please note: If you'd like a 100% naturally caffeine-free tea, we suggest that you try our large selection of no caffeine teas such as: herbal teas, rooibos teas, honeybush teas, and fruit tisanes.
