Tasting Notes:  caramel, vanilla

Description:  A dessert-inspired tea with no calories!  Rich vanilla and sweet caramel is enveloped between layers of aged pu’er tea.  In this popular blend, earthy pu'er tea balances perfectly with vanilla and caramel to create a hearty tea that is satisfying.

Many of our customers say this full-bodied and caffeine-forward tea is their substitute for coffee.  It's a full-bodied and satisfying tea that's rich and bold.

This feel-good tea pairs well with food, therefore, we love it as a breakfast tea. This versatile tea can be sipped straight up either hot or iced and it also takes milk, sugar, or honey very well. This tea is a great selection for those that want a caramel tasting tea that is lactose-free, dairy-free, and vegan.

If you love our Salted Caramel, Vanilla Bourbon, Burnt Sugar, and Decaf English Toffee teas then we think you'll love this tea, too.

What is pu'er tea?  The medicinal properties present in pu'er teas are what set them apart. They're known to be powerful digestive aids, can ease stomach issues, are natural detoxifiers, may aid in weight-loss, may ease anxiety, and are said to lower both blood pressure and cholesterol.

Pu'er is an aged and fermented tea that is produced in the Yunnan province China. This ancient tea is now beloved all around the world. It was inadvertently created on the Tea Horse Road, an ancient trade route that spanned from China to Tibet. The thousand mile trade route navigated through mountains with harsh conditions. During the journey, it was found that tea leaves were altered by moisture, varying temperatures, and sunlight exposure. These natural conditions resulted in a fermentation and aging process of the tea. This process created a tea with unique taste profiles and particular health benefits. Nowadays, pu'er tea is deliberately aged and fermented to re-create the tea that was crafted while on the Tea Horse Road.
