Description: Tulsi, aka Holy Basil, has been revered for its medicinal value throughout India for thousands of years. Ayurvedic texts describe Holy Basil as a pillar of sacred holistic herbal medicine. The tulsi leaf taste is minty with licorice and herbaceous green notes.
Tulsi is an adaptogen plant that helps the body cope with mental, physical, and emotional stress. Tulsi may also boost the immune system and has been found to have anti-inflammatory properties. Steep Directions: steep 1-2 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz boiling water, 205-212°F, for 7-10 minutes
