Ginger Chai
Tasting Notes: spicy, bright, zesty
Description: Ginger has been an essential part of chai recipes for centuries, valued for its invigorating character and spice. In this take on chai, it moves to center stage instead of remaining a supporting character.
While our traditional Masala Chai leans toward a rounder, full-bodied spice, Ginger Chai celebrates the livelier and more zesty side of chai. Its ginger and clove notes create a vibrant cup that is deeply spiced and bright, perfect for those who love the lively heat and bite of strong ginger. Each sip leaves a warm, lingering finish.
This chai features an Assam black tea base that provides a smooth foundation, layered with vibrant ginger and aromatic clove, and a subtle finish of cardamom and cinnamon. The generous use of ginger brings a lively and sweet spice with soft citrus undertones, while clove adds a warm, woodsy note. Cardamom and cinnamon lingers at the finish.
We love this Ginger Chai either straight up, with some honey, or enjoy it with milk and sugar for a creamy spicy chai.
