Tasting Notes: ginger, orange, baked cookies
Description: A festive blend of orange, ginger, clove, and South African red rooibos tea. A tiny touch of whole leaf stevia adds sweetness. This herbal tea is reminiscent of fresh baked gingerbread cookies. A cozy spiced tea that is warming and comforting. We prefer this tea with honey to increase the sweet softly spiced notes.
We recommend this tea as the base for hot toddies. To make a hot toddy with this tea: add whiskey or bourbon, honey, an orange slice, and additional spices such as cinnamon and clove.
Ingredients: red rooibos tea, ginger, orange, clove, cinnamon, stevia leaf
Steep Directions: steep 1-2 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz boiling water, 205-212°F, for 7-10 minutes
