Tasting Notes: light smoke, soft spice, hint of chili

Description:  A balance of black tea, smoke, spice, and chili peppers. A lightly smokey tea with warm chai spice and subtle lingering chili pepper notes. 

In this chai, the smoke flavor is balanced with warm chai spices and a finish of spicy chili pepper.  If you'd like to increase the chili pepper taste, break up the whole chili peppers into smaller pieces. This will spread and increase the spicy chili pepper notes throughout the tea.

Ingredients: Assam black tea, Lapsang Souchong black tea, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, aniseed, clove, black peppercorn, cardamom, chili pepper

Steep Directions: steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz boiling water, 205-212°F, for 3-5 minutes
