New Harvest!

Tasting Notes: caramel, cocoa, honey, bright fruit, delicate malt

Description: Keemun Mao Feng is a premium spring-harvest Chinese black tea from Anhui Province, China. Unlike our Keemun Imperial, a Keemun Congou, Mao Feng is prized for its tender young leaves, delicate character, natural sweetness, and aromatic complexity.

The name Mao Feng translates to "fur peak," referring to the fine, downy hairs found on young tea buds and the distinctive shape of the leaves. Carefully selected and processed, these tender leaves produce a softer, more nuanced expression of Keemun with a naturally sweet and refined character.

This beautiful whole-leaf tea brews a smooth amber infusion with notes of caramel, cocoa, and honey, complemented by bright, almost juicy fruit undertones and a delicate malty finish. Its lighter, more aromatic character makes it distinctly different from traditional Keemun black teas.

A wonderful choice for tea enthusiasts looking to explore the exceptional qualities of spring-harvest Chinese black teas.

Ingredients: black tea from Anhui Province, China

Steep Directions: Steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz water at 205–212°F for 3–4 minutes.
