Tasting Notes: smooth black tea, cranberry, pomegranate, strawberry

Description: A bright medley of cranberry, pomegranate, strawberry, and papaya blends beautifully with smooth decaffeinated black tea. The fruit flavors come together easily, creating a flavorful, exceptionally smooth cup.

This tea is a decaffeinated version of our Full Moon Fruit Tea. It’s an easy-drinking fruity black tea that’s excellent hot or iced. Add a little sweetener to bring out even more of the fruit.

Our decaf teas are created using the CO2 decaffeination process. The advantage of this technique is that no chemical solvents are used to remove the caffeine. In this manner of decaffeination, naturally occurring CO2 is applied to the tea leaf in a circulation process which carefully uses high pressure and temperature to extract the caffeine. A very slight residue of caffeine will remain in the tea leaf, which is why we call them decaf teas rather than no caffeine teas. There will be a slight change in the character and flavor of the tea due to the decaffeination process, but the end result is an uncompromising cup of tea with no chemical overtones.

Please note: If you'd like a 100% naturally caffeine-free tea, we suggest that you try our large selection of no caffeine teas such as: herbal teas, rooibos teas, honeybush teas, and fruit tisanes.
