The tea leaves absorb the fragrance and in turn impart a delicious flavor to the tea. This traditional process occurs when tea leaves are delicately layered with jasmine petals which allows the two elements, green tea and jasmine petals, to marry. The earthy green tea leaves absorb the floral aroma and sweet taste of the jasmine petals.
