Tasting Notes: buttery greens + floral notes
Description: Lightly oxidized oolong tea with tightly rolled green leaves that unfurl to release their complex flavor balance of floral, sweet, and vegetal.
Grown 3,000 feet above sea level in the Nantou area of Taiwan, this tea is harvested twice a year. A complex tea with a fine balance of smooth buttery greens and floral notes of magnolia, freesia, gardenia, and orchid. Subtle stone fruit notes offer a sweet finish. A wonderful tea to steep for multiple infusions. Each infusion will allow the tightly rolled ball shaped leaves to unfurl and release more nuances of flavor.
Ingredients: oolong tea from Taiwan
Steep Directions: steep 1 tsp of tea per 8 oz of below boiling water, 195°F, for 2-4 minutes
